Nestled in the legendary surf village of Taghazout, AZA Surf Morocco is more than a surf school — it's a living, breathing community where waves become memories and strangers become family. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned surfer, we craft the perfect experience just for you.
Start Your Adventure"I booked a week not knowing what to expect and left with a second family. The surf coaching was next level — small groups, tons of personal attention. But honestly the best part was sitting on the rooftop at sunset with everyone, sharing stories. Already planning my return."
"If you're hesitating, just go. I was a complete beginner — never touched a surfboard. By day three I was riding green waves. Lahoucine is an incredible teacher, patient and so passionate. The food, the rooms, the vibe — everything is better than the photos. Best decision I've made in years."
"I've surfed in Costa Rica, Portugal and Bali — AZA is different. It's not just a surf camp, it's a home. Dominika makes sure every detail is taken care of, from the fresh breakfast to arranging transport. The group dinners are something special. Left with real friends, not just photos."
"Came for the surf, stayed for the people. The whole team goes above and beyond to make sure you're having a good time. I loved that they took us to local spots instead of the crowded breaks. Felt like a real adventure, not a tourist trip. Can't recommend it enough."
"I was looking for a place where I could surf, do yoga, and actually disconnect from work for a bit. AZA was exactly that and more. The yoga sessions on the rooftop at sunrise with the sound of the waves — magical. The rooms are clean and beautiful, the food is incredible. 10/10."
"Honestly the best surf trip of my life. The waves were pumping, the guides knew exactly where to take us each day depending on conditions. But what really got me was the atmosphere at the house — family dinners, late night chats on the terrace, everyone just vibing. I extended my stay twice. That says it all."
Everything you need to know before your trip to AZA Surf Morocco.
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners through to advanced surfers. Our packages and lessons are tailored to your level — we'll assess you on your first session and make sure you're in the right group with the right instructor.
Taghazout has waves year-round! The prime surf season runs from October through April, when consistent Atlantic swells produce the long point-break rides Taghazout is famous for. Summer (May–September) offers smaller, cleaner waves that are ideal for beginners and intermediates.
Our all-inclusive packages cover accommodation at AZA House, daily surf lessons with certified instructors, surf equipment (board & wetsuit), breakfast and dinner, airport transfers, and optional add-ons like yoga, excursions to Paradise Valley, camel rides, and more. Check our Packages page for full details.
AZA Surf House is approximately 25 km north of Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA) — about a 30–40 minute taxi ride. All of our packages include airport transfer, so you won't need to worry about arranging transport yourself. Simply message us your flight details and we'll be at arrivals to meet you.
Absolutely — in fact, many of our most loyal guests first came solo. The communal atmosphere at AZA means you'll meet like-minded people from day one. Shared meals, group surf sessions, and evening hangouts on the rooftop make it very easy to connect.
Yes! Families are very welcome at AZA. We have experience teaching children as young as 12 and our instructors are known for keeping younger surfers safe while making sure they have a brilliant time. Let us know the ages of your children when booking and we'll plan the right sessions for them.
We provide surf boards and wetsuits, so you don't need to bring your own. We recommend packing: reef-safe sunscreen, a rash vest, comfortable beach and evening wear, a light jacket for evenings, a reusable water bottle, and your sense of adventure. A full packing list is sent with your booking confirmation.
You can book directly through our Packages page or by messaging us on WhatsApp. We ask for a 30% deposit to secure your spot, with the remainder due on arrival. All major payment methods are accepted. Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival receive a full refund of the deposit.
